  • When it comes to designing and receiving approval for your new home, there are alot of factors that need to be carefully considered. Some of these are :
  • Heritage and conservation - Your current home might be heritage listed or fall within a conservation zone
  • Environmental impacts - Environmental impacts such as the underground soil type, stormwater drainage and bushfire vulnerability
  • Sydney Water assets - It is likely that there are Sydney Water assets such as sewer lines and stormwater pipes within your property
  • Floor Space Ratio (FSR) - This is an important instrument which will determine how much building space you're allowed on your property. For an FSR of 0.5:1 for example, if the site area is 1000 sqm, the floor area allowed is 500 sqm.

Any specialist consultants reports which may be needed in your individual circumstances, such as Arborist, Heritage, Acoustic, Traffic, Geotechnical Investigation, Structural Engineer and others Depending on your site, we will obtain obtain approval either via a CDC or DA. Even if your looking to sell your property, obtaining a DA or CDC for a new home is an excellent idea and a great incentive for a buyer.For that little cost in obtaining the approval, the return could be significant.
